A great soulful year for soul music lovers. A special year when it came down to soul music. Again we saw the emergence of some superstars in the making. This was the year I first broadcast my love for soul music over the airwaves. So this was really a labour of love to compile a mix featuring the biggest soul and funk tunes of 1987.
